Flag-raising at sunrise = hoist the Flags to full staff, then lower slowly, respectfully to half-staff
Flag-lowering at sunset = hoist Flags up from half-staff back to full-staff, then lower slowly, respectfully all the way down for removal

In FLORIDA, Governor DeSantis ordered the US and State Flags to half-staff until Feb 1 to honor the 5 victims of yesterday's shooting at Sun Trust Bank in Sebring, FL.
Police have released the names of 4 of the 5 victims (pictured left to right): Marisol Lopez (left), Cynthia Watson, Jessica Montague and Ana Pinon-Williams

In PENNSYLVANIA, the PA State Flag was ordered to half-staff until (TBD) to honor the life of former Senator Harris Wofford, a WWII Veteran and Civic Rights Influencer, who passed away on Jan. 21st.

And, now, there are 72 ...
As seen in our #NeverForgottenFriday tribute video, LTC (RET) Charles Kettles died last week - leaving us with only 72 living Medal of Honor recipients.
For his courageous actions on May 15, 1967, in the Song Tau Cau river valley, Vietnam, leading a team of 6 Huey helicopters to save 40 troops during an NVA ambush, then Major Charles Kettles' Distinguished Service Cross was upgraded to the Medal of Honor at a White House ceremony on July 18, 2016 - nearly 50 years later.
