Where is Our Flag, the U.S. Flag, lowered to half-staff today, May 19?
There are THREE (3) new half-staff orders across Vermont and Minnesota to honor COVID-19 victims and parts of Ohio (ordered around 1230p EST today). Plus, there's a half-staff ending (back to full staff) order for Connecticut for sunset today.

OTD, May 19th, in 1848, the Mexican-American War officially ended when Mexico signed the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo. In this agreement (treaty) Mexico was forced to give the lands (pictured above in white) that became the U.S. states of California, Nevada, Utah, and parts of Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, and Texas for just $15 million.
