Where is Our Flag, the U.S. Flag, lowered to half-staff today (April 29)?
There are TWO new half-staffs ordered (starting on Tuesday afternoon): 1) All Flags across Bell County, Texas, and 2b) All Flags in the City of Arlington, Washington

Other Half-Staffs continue ...
... Across Illinois, Michigan, New York, Connecticut, and New Jersey all Flags are half-staff ...
... In Pennsylvania, all STATE Flags are half-staff ...
... And, in Cuyahoga County, Ohio, special locations in Massachusetts, and all DPS facilities across Texas, plus in the cities of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Columbia, South Carolina, Washington, D.C. and San Diego, California all Flags are half-staff ...
All of these half-staffs, except in California, Louisiana, and Texas, honor coronavirus victims.

... recalls an American Revolution heroine who shouted, "The British are burning Danbury!" ...

On this 'Women to Honor Wednesday,' we are celebrating Sybil Ludington - a 16-year old girl who deserves more notice.  On the evening of April, 27, in 1777, she made an important 40-mile ride, on her horse named 'Star.'  She was racing across Putnam County, New York in the dark to warn citizens and colonial soldiers that the British Army was coming.  Her ride did not save Danbury from being attacked, but it helped the colonial soldiers to defeat and push back the British troops to Long Island Sound.  
So, why is she not remembered with more than just a 1976 stamp (see below)?
