Today's #NeverForgottenFriday Commemoration
Thankfully, there were no U.S. military service members killed in Global War on Terror (GWOT) combat zones this past week. But, sadly, there were 3 troops who died while serving their country. U.S. Air Force Airman First Class Keigan Baker, 24, of Longview, Washington, died during swim training in Florida. And, U.S. Army Private First Class Marissa Gloria, 25, of Minnesota, and Specialist Clay Welch, 20, of Michigan, were found dead in their barracks on separate days this past weekend at Camp Humphreys in South Korea.

... unfortunately, there were 2 police officers who died in the line of duty recently. Police Officer Kaia Grant, age 33, with 8 years at the Springdale Police Department in Ohio, and Washington State Trooper Justin Schaffer, age 28, with 7 years on the state patrol, were both struck and killed by vehicles intentionally on March 21st and 24th respectively.
We honor and thank these 5 fallen patriots for serving and protecting our country and their communities.
