Half-Staff Alerts & Honorees for February 23
All Flags atop Flint City Hall, MICHIGAN (MI: until Feb. 28): Flint's Mayor, assumedly with authority and approval of the MI Governor, ordered all Flags atop Flint City Hall to half-staff until Fri., Feb. 28th, the date of his interment, to honor the life of Richard Dicks Sr., the city's first "Super Chief" (Chief of Police and Fire).

County Flag in Charles County, MARYLAND (MD: until TBD): Charles County Commissioner ordered the Charles County Flag to half-staff until the date of the interment (TBD), to honor Charles County Government employee and North Point student, Bradley A. Brown. GO HERE to see the Flag tribute info.
All Flags in Porterville, CALIFORNIA and firehouses throughout the state (CA: until TBD): Porterville city officials and firehouses throughout the state, assumedly with authority and approval of the CA Governor, ordered all Flags to half-staff until the date of the interments (Capt Figueroa's funeral is Tue., Feb. 25), to honor Porterville Fire Department Captain Raymond Figueroa and Firefighter Patrick Jones, who died while battling a fire at the Porterville Library on Tuesday. All Flags in the City of Los Angeles, CALIFORNIA (CA: until Feb. 24): City of Los Angeles' Mayor, assumedly with authority and approval of the CA Governor, ordered all Flags at city buildings to half-staff until the date of the memorial service for all the victims on Feb. 24, at the Staples Center, in honor of Kobe Bryant, Gianna Bryant, and all of the victims in Sunday's (Jan. 26) tragic helicopter crash.
