TODAY'S FLAG STATUS:
Across the USA, Our Flag flies at full staff except in Texas, New Jersey, and Montana.
In Texas, the U.S. Flag and state flag fly at half-staff to honor the victims of Sunday's mass shooting in Sutherland Springs. Flags should remain at half-staff in Texas through sunset on Thursday, November 9, 2017.
In New Jersey, Our Flag is at half-staff today to commemorate the victims of Tuesday's terrorist attack in Manhattan.
The U.S. Flag and state flag is at half-staff in Montana to honor the life and legacy of former Montana Governor Judy Martz, Montana's first female Governor, who passed away on October 30th, 2017 .
NOTE: In North Carolina, the Governor has called for all state flags to fly at half-staff until sunset on Monday, November 6th, in tribute to the Department of Public Safety employee, Geoffrey Howe. He passed on Thursday after suffering multiple injuries while working at Pasquotank Correctional Institution on Thursday, October 12th.

21, of Scottsbluff, Neb.; assigned to Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 52nd Engineer Battalion, based in Fort Carson, Colo.; killed Nov. 6 when an improvised explosive device was detonated as his convoy passed by in Mosul, Iraq.
