This Community & Schools Flag Experience and set of Events will Pay Tribute to Our Fallen Combatants, Active Military & Veterans, and Showcase Student Stories about what Inspires them to Stand for the Pledge and Anthem

After a 7+ year hiatus from the state of Colorado, Beacon of Honor is bringing back the Colonial Flag Foundation’s ‘Field of Honor’ program.  Our goal is to display at least 3,000 U.S. Flags in a field formation and/or along a path.  These Flags will be 'awakened' by students relaying their stories about Our Flag's significance to them and others.  Using our location-based technology, we'll deliver a captivating multimedia tour through the Flag display - one that will highlight powerful student stories, commemorate our fallen combatants, and recognize our active military and Veterans.
We have narrowed down the potential locations for this flag display and set events to three (3) possible places in Highlands Ranch.   
We expect to nail down an approved location for this flag display and set of events by NLT mid-December.
