Last year, a few weeks after launching this new FlagSteward.org website, we tried to raise awareness for the newly proclaimed
'National Vietnam War Veterans Day'
[ on March 29th, per Public Law 115-15***]
by enabling a #VWVDTribute / #VietnamWarVeteransDayTribute to honor, thank, and finally give them a "Welcome Home."
Well, as you might imagine, with a brand new, unknown website and social media accounts, the results were low - like myself and my daughter participated ;)

So, for 2019, with a much longer 5-day leadtime ;) ... we're trying it again.

to honor, thank, and "Welcome Home" our 2.7M Vietnam War Veterans
[ approximately 500 of whom are dying each day, according to the VA ]
It's a simple 3-step process:
1) Make / Fill-in your "Welcome Home" sign
[Note 1: CLICK HERE to access our "Welcome Home" sign templates to edit and print]
[Note 2: If you DO NOT KNOW any Vietnam War Veterans, then go to the Vietnam Veterans Memorial 'Wall of Faces' webpage and select a fallen Vietnam Vet to honor. Search by your city name or last name and you may be surprised by what you discover.]
2a) Snap a picture of you holding your "Welcome Home" sign
OR
2b) Film a short video "Welcome Home" message while holding your sign
3) Post your pic and/or video to social media and challenge your friends to ...
