In the summer of 1945, as momentum was building for the end of WWII in the Pacific, a comedy film called, "The Naughty Nineties," was released starring the dynamic comedy duo of Abbott & Costello (Bud Abbott & Lou Costello - pictured on left and right respectively above). The film contained the longest, and perhaps funniest version, of their "Who's on First?" routine.
In 1999, Time Magazine called this the Best Comedy Sketch of the 20th Century. It now plays continuously in the National Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, NY.
