How did UT get its name?:
No one knows for sure because there are a few theories about the origin of Utah's name.
But, the most popular thought is that the name comes from the Ute tribe's word for "people of the mountains."
Nickname of UT:
The Beehive State
Notable UT Landmarks and Historic Sites:
1) "Mighty Five" National Parks with great hiking, mountain biking, and amazing views (Arches NP, Bryce Canyon NP, Zion NP, Canyonlands NP, Capitol Reef NP)
2) Park City skiing
3) Four Corners (connects UT, AZ, CO, & NM)

Did you know this about Utah?:
Utah is the only state where the majority of its citizens belong to one church, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (aka the Mormon religion)
America's first transcontinental railroad was completed in 1869 in Utah when railways coming from Sacramento, CA in the west and from Omaha, NE in the east met after 7 years of construction.
