[ Note: I'm compelled to highlight an on-going issue that has not been resolved by 4 of the highest trafficked half-staff alert services (FlagNotify, FlagsExpress, Legacy, and the Flag App) for more than a month. All of these services have not listed the correct half-staff alerts for the last 30+ days (since Memorial Day). FlagsExpress still has Michigan and Connecticut listed for indefinite half-staffs for COVID-19 victims, but their Governors ended their statewide half-staffs in May (see this page). And, FlagNotify and the Flag App don't have any of the remaining long-term half-staffs across NY, IL, & PA listed. They never listed or removed the order before those State Governors ended their indefinite COVID-19 half-staff order. Granted, citizens do NOT have to follow the orders of their State Governor or the President because they only apply to government controlled facilities, but it is respectful to follow them when the information is passed along properly.
