ALL Flags in City of Nassau Bay, Texas (TX: on Dec. 11 - TBD):  TX Governor ordered ALL (US, State, & City) Flags in the City of Nassau Bay to half-staff, immediately on Dec. 11 to sunset on the date of her interment (TBD), in honor of the life and public service of Nassau Bay Police Sergeant Kaila Sullivan, who was killed in the line of duty this weekend while responding to a call.  GO HERE to read the Flag order.
[NOTE: We don't know why there is a discrepancy between the half-staff in Houston and Nassau Bay ordered by the TX Governor.  He only ordered the TX State Flag to half-staff in the Houston Flag order.  See the Flag orders below.]

Thankfully, there were no U.S. military personnel killed in Global War on Terror (GWOT) combat zones this past week.

But, unfortunately, there were 6 military members killed in the line of duty in 2 different incidents last week. Minnesota National Guard soldiers, Chief Warrant Officers Rogers and Nord and Sergeant Plantenberg, were killed in a helicopter crash. And, in Florida, US Navy sailors Haitham, Walters, and Watson were shot and killed during a terrorist attack on base.

... And, back on the homefront ...

Sadly, ... there were 9 first responders who died in the line of duty last week.  The 4 fallen police officers were Sergeant Voth in Colorado (prison accident), Agent Clardy in Alabama (shot & killed), Sergeant Brewster in Texas (shot & killed), and Officer Carr in Arkansas (shot & killed), Detective Joseph Seals in New Jersey (shot & killed) and Kaila Sullivan (struck & killed intentionally by vehicle).  Unbelievably, THIS WAS THE WORST WEEK I'VE WITNESSED of Police Officers being shot and killed in the line of duty, since I started this service nearly 4 years ago.
And, the 3 fallen firefighters were Fire Chief White in New York, firefighter Childs in Georgia, and firefigther Jones in Colorado.

We honor and thank these patriots for serving and protecting their communities.
