All Flags across Lowdnes County, Alabama (AL: immediately until Dec. 2):  Lowndes County officials, assumedly with approval and authority of the Governor, ordered all (US & State) Flags  across the county to half-staff, immediately until sunset on Mon., Dec. 2, the date of interment, in honor of Sheriff John Williams.

All Flags in Covington and across Newton County, Georgia (GA: Dec. 2):  Covington Mayor and Newton County officials, assumedly with approval and authority of the Governor, ordered all (US & State) Flags  across the city and county to half-staff, immediately until sunset on Mon., Dec. 2, the date of interment, in honor of Almond Turner, a former Covington Assistant Police Chief and current Newton County Board of Education member.  CLICK HERE to read about the Flag order.
