The U.S. Flag is FULL STAFF across 46 of 50 states
The U.S. & State Flags across NORTH CAROLINA (just ordered this AM) and the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma are half-staff
The Commonwealth (State) Flags only across TEXAS (just ordered this afternoon), CONNECTICUT, and VIRGINIA are half-staff
And, locally, all Flags in the City of Augusta and across Richmond County, GA, as well as, across Palo Alto, CA are half-staff
Why are these states, counties, and/or cities having half-staffs and whom are they honoring? = GO HERE to see half-staff details, including honoree pictures

On this date, November 21, in 1620, while the Mayflower ship was anchored off Provincetown, at the northern tip of Cape Cod, the Mayflower Compact was signed by 41 of the 101 passengers. The Mayflower Compact was the first governing document for the Plymouth Colony. It was basically a contract in which settlers agreed to live by the colony's rules. It enabled majority ruling within the community while also maintaining their allegiance to the King of England

I tested a texting vendor's services on Tuesday and was not satisfied with it. So, tomorrow, I'll be testing a new vendor and expect that everything will be in place by this weekend. I apologize for the week delay in enabling this service, but I'm a little out of sorts from recently starting night shifts at Amazon to support the spending on Flag Steward's free, nonprofit services (app, website, flag education programs, etc.), as well as, my family, of course ;)
... a solution for Flag Steward app users who only want a notification (not via the Flag Steward app) when their State has a half-staff order ...
