Today's #NeverForgottenFriday Commemoration
Thankfully, there were no soldiers killed while serving in Global War on Terror (GWOT) combat zones last week.
... And, back on the homefront ...
... And, back on the homefront ...
Sadly, ... there were 6 first responders who died in the line of duty recently. The 3 fallen peace officers were Police Chief Michael Knapp of Lynden Police Department in Washington (struck by vehicle), Lemoore Police Department Officer Jonathan Diaz in California (shot & killed), and Dayton Police Department Detective Jorge Delrio (shot & killed).
The 3 fallen firefighters were Union-Grove Yorkville Firefighter Brian Serdynski (medical emergency death), former Getzville Fire Company Chief and President Irving Isenberg, and Escambia County District Chief and USAF Veteran Dwain Bradshaw.
