Sadly, ... there were 6 first responders who died in the line of duty recently.  The 4 fallen peace officers were Deputy Matt Jones with Falls County Sheriff's Office in Texas (struck by a vehicle), Indiana State Trooper Peter Stephan (killed in patrol car crash), Los Angeles Parks Ranger / Captain Albert Torres (died of medical emergency while patrolling wildfire area), and Montgomery County Police Officer Thomas Bomba in Maryland (died from self-inflicted gunshot)
The 2 fallen firefighters were San Antonio Firefighter Greg Garza and Louise Firefighter Steven Henderson - both in Texas and both struck and killed by a vehicle at separate emergency locations

Please, pray for all of these fallen patriots and their family and friends in mourning.
