Today's #NeverForgottenFriday Commemoration
Since we've postponed our weekly Pre-Pledge Tributes during schools' summer break; and subsequently the 'Fallen Patriots to Honor' section of those tributes ... We plan to commemorate them on Fridays this summer.

Unfortunately, there was 1 military casualty in a Global War on Terror combat zone this week. US Army Sergeant Major (SGT MAJ) / Green Beret James "Ryan" Sartor, 40, of Teague, Texas, was killed by small arms fire while conducting a combat operation on Saturday, July 13, in Afghanistan's Faryab Province.  SGT MAJ Sartor was serving with the 10th Special Forces Group (Airborne) out of Fort Carson, CO.

... unfortunately, one peace officer and one firefighter died in the line of duty recently.
Pittsburgh Police Officer Calvin Hill was shot off-duty trying to break up a neighborhood fight and died of his wounds a few days later [CLICK HERE to learn more].  Angela Hawkins, a certified wildland firefighter, died during a prescribed burn on Ft. Jackson, SC, on May 22 (her death was just announced publicly this week = SEE HERE).

Please, pray for all of these fallen patriots and their family and friends in mourning.

CLICK HERE to GIVE & GET from our 'Donors Gift Shop':  Donate and showcase your support of our newest nonprofit program by proudly flying or displaying inside your home or office a hand-inscribed, storytelling iHonor American Flag.
Our goal is to empower students to build and program their own hand-inscribed, storytelling iHonor American Flags commemorating our nearly 7,000 GWOT Fallen and gift them to the Fallen's high school alma maters.  The first school will start to enable the first 50 Flags in Colorado next month.
