Today's Moment to Remember

On tomorrow's date, June 21st of 1788, nearly a year after it was sent to the States, the US Constitution was ratified (became law). New Hampshire's state legislature provided the 9th and last state's approval to ratify it. This only came to be because the Constitutional Convention said that it would make amendments to the Constitution to satisfy the states that wanted more individual and states rights instituted in the Constitution.
As the 'law of the land', the Constitution famously starts:
We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.
As the 'law of the land', the Constitution famously starts:

On June 20 of 1975, Jaws was released in U.S. movie theaters. The film, which put, then 27-year old, Steven Spielberg on the "Hollywood Director" map because it was an instant blockbuster film, scared moviegoers from swimming in the ocean ;) At the time, it was the highest grossing movie - the first to bring more than $100 million. The film won 3 Academy Awards and was selected in 2001 for permanent preservation by the Library of Congress.
