Today's Moment to Remember
From now until Memorial Day, and perhaps the week after; rather than researching and posting historical moments to remember each day, I will be posting pics and links to iHonor (formerly 'Interactive') American Flags I have made and deployed across the USA. Specifically, I'll share iHonor 'GWOT (Global War on Terror) Fallen' American Flags that relay these fallen soldiers' inspiring stories.
Today's iHonor Flag for GWOT Fallen was gifted a couple weeks ago to a college house that had a neglected American Flag that I had to replace.
It was graduation day at UNC (Univ. Northern Colorado) and no one was home. So, I took down their shredded US Flag and replaced with one honoring Army PFC MacKenzie - a young, soldier from the town next to this university town. The story of PFC MacKenzie is short because I hope to provide editorial control of this tribute page to the students of this house, so they can improve the story of and learn from PFC MacKenzie's sacrifice.
