*** Military Honors Burial Ceremony to Witness ***
On Friday (yesterday), I attended a Military Honors Burial for a local resident and family friend - an Operation Iraqi Freedom combat infantryman, US Army Staff Sergeant Mark Schultz, who saw first-hand the massive statues of Saddam Hussein come crashing down in Baghdad in 2003. He died too young, at 57, perhaps of war-related health issues. He was a 20-year career Army soldier and 7-year public servant helping Veterans at the VA. If you have never attended a Military Honors Burial, please, take a moment to watch the highlights of SSG Schultz's ceremony below and witness how honorably we bury our military Veterans.
