The leader of women's suffrage (right to vote) was born on this date, February, 15th, in 1820, in Massachusetts. She fought for women's rights and all her hard work finally paid-off in 1920 - when women were able to vote. Her civil rights efforts were recognized in 1979 when she became the first American woman on a U.S. coin.
