Across the USA and its Territories, the US Flag flies at HALF-STAFF to honor the life and service of our 41st US President, George H. W. Bush, and will remain so until sunset on December 30th. And, in MA, there is a concurrent half-staff honoree.
OTD, December 15th in 1791, America's Bill of Rights became law. The Bill of Rights were the first 10 amendments to the U.S. Constitution. These changes to the U.S. Constitution provided rights and freedoms to individual citizens and states that weren't originally granted in the U.S. Constitution.
