"It was because of my great interest in the West, and my belief that its development would be assisted by the interest I could awaken in others, that I decided to bring the West to the East through the medium of the Wild West Show."

Today's Moment to Remember
... WWII becomes a war with 2 fronts ...
... WWII becomes a war with 2 fronts ...
On this date (OTD), Dec. 11, 1941, Italy and Germany, Japan's Axis partners, declared war on the U.S.. So, the U.S. Congress immediately declared war on Germany and Italy, in addition to Japan. Upon this happening, President Roosevelt changed America's war priority from avenging Pearl Harbor against Japan to defeating Hitler-led Germany. FDR then dedicated 90% of its U.S. military to handle the war in Europe first.
