U.S. Army Corporal Joseph Maciel
Global War on Terror - War in Afghanistan
Corporal Joseph Maciel, 20, of South Gate, California, was killed in Tarin Kowt district, Uruzgan province, Afghanistan in an apparent insider attack. Two other soldiers were wounded in the same incident.
Maciel, an infantryman, was assigned to 1st Battalion, 38th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Infantry Division out of Ft. Benning, GA, and was deployed to Afghanistan as part of the 1st Security Force Assistance Brigade.
Please, pray for Corporal Maciel and those in mourning.
