TODAY'S REMINDER FROM OUR FLAG:
... "Land that I love" ...
"God Bless America," a patriotic song by Irving Berlin, was originally written during World War I and then revised by him leading up to World War II in 1938. During those years it evolved from a song of victory to a song of peace. It has become a signature song during the intermission of many sporting events - most notably during the 7th inning of MLB games.
