Across the USA, Our Flag flies at full staff, except in TN and CT. In CT, Our Flag flies at half-staff to honor U.S. Navy Electronics Technician 3rd Class Dustin Louis Doyon, who was killed during the USS McCain ship collision on Monday.
In TN, the Stars&Stripes is at half-staff to honor a recovered and now finally identified World War II veteran, Marine Corporal Henry Andregg Jr. killed during the Battle of Tarawa.

The United States National Park Service was created on August 25, 1916 by our Congress' National Park Service Organic Act. The National Park Service (NPS) is part of the U.S. Department of the Interior. President Woodrow Wilson signed the law and spelled out the NPS mission "to conserve the scenery and the natural and historic objects and wildlife therein, and to provide for the enjoyment of the same in such manner and by such means as will leave them unimpaired for the enjoyment of future generations."
Currently, the NPS has more than 20,000 employees managing 417 places -including 59 national parks.

After more than 80 hours and 2,100 square miles of searching the U.S. Navy has called off its search for the 10 missing sailors from Monday's USS McCain ship collision.
Only one body was recovered. So, declared deceased is
Electronics Technician 3rd Class Kenneth Aaron Smith, 22, from New Jersey
and declared missing are these 9 sailors:
We pray for these sailors and their families in mourning.
We, also, thank these 10 sailors for stepping up to uphold America's freedoms and fight to liberate others.

- Information Systems Technician 2nd Class Timothy Thomas Eckels Jr., 23, from Maryland
- Information Systems Technician 2nd Class Corey George Ingram, 28, from New York
- Electronics Technician 3rd Class Dustin Louis Doyon, 26, from Connecticut
- Electronics Technician 3rd Class John Henry Hoagland III, 20, from Texas
- Interior Communications Electrician 3rd Class Logan Stephen Palmer, 23, from Illinois
We pray for these sailors and their families in mourning.
