U.S. Marine Lance Corporal Matthew W. Clark
Died on December 14, 2006 while serving as part of Operation Iraqi Freedom
Marine Lance Corporal (LCpl) Clark, age 22, of St. Louis, Missouri; was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment, 3rd Marine Division, III Marine Expeditionary Force, Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii.
He was killed in action (KIA) by a roadside bomb while fighting in Anbar, Iraq.
We honor and thank U.S. Marine LCpl Clark for defending our freedoms and fighting to liberate the lives of others.

Matthew inspires us with his engaging personality:
A high school classmate, Eden Newmark, described Matt as,
"He was probably the funniest guy I knew. He was the kind of person you stayed out with until 5 a.m. and didn't even realize it was late."
