Private First Class Henry C. Risner, 26, of Golden, Colorado.

Killed Aug. 18 when his checkpoint came under attack by enemy small-arms fire in Baghdad.
He was survived by his wife and forthcoming child at the time.
We honor and thank U.S. Army PFC Henry Risner for defending our freedoms and fighting to liberate the lives of others.
Henry inspires us with this recollection from his dad:
“He’s one of these boys who, when anybody needed help, he was right there. He was just extremely protective of other people who were in trouble.”
