U.S. Army Sergeant Lawrence A. Roukey
Died of combat wounds on April 26, 2004 while serving as part of Operation Iraqi Freedom
Sgt. Roukey, age 33, of Westbrook, Maine was a postal worker and member of the Maine Army Reserves.
He was killed by a large explosion while performing site security in Baghdad, Iraq.

Roukey inspires us and makes us smile:
His family told stories about how he always had a sense of duty to others and his Country.  They retold how he would take his sister’s doll house and fill it with GI Joes barricading the doors.
