When encountering a Beacon of Honor - Awakens Our Memorials (BoH-AoM) location, the PlaceApp will alert you to the stories being relayed by the monument.  The PlaceApp, a proximity marketing app using IoT/beacon and GPS technologies, will pull-up the 'awakened' memorial at a particular location to deliver its emotionally stirring content.  All the 'Beacon of Honor' content within the PlaceApp is personalized to the user's location.
The BoH-AoM experience within the PlaceApp includes the opportunity to offer visitors riveting images, audio, and/or video story files about the memorial's honoree(s).  The award commendation section provides a great way to remember and proclaim the memorial honoree's heroic actions and/or community service during life.
