All Flags across NEW JERSEY (NJ: June 9): New Jersey's Governor ordered all flags at state / public facilities across NJ to half-staff, from sunrise to sunset, on Fri., June 9, in honor of Honorable Lisa Payne Thornton. Judge Thornton was appointed as a Superior Court judge by Governor Jon Corzine in 2008 and, most recently, served as the Monmouth County Assignment Judge. The President ordered, as U.S. law directs for Memorial Day, all U.S. Flags to HALF-STAFF across the USA from sunrise until 12 noon local time on Mon., May 29, in honor and recognition of all of our fallen service members. Furthermore, the President calls for all Americans from 11am - 12pm local time to unite in prayer and/or reflection.
