Where is Our Flag, the U.S. Flag, lowered to half-staff today (April 30)?
There are NO new half-staffs ordered.
Other Half-Staffs continue ...
... Across Illinois, Michigan, New York, Connecticut, and New Jersey all Flags are half-staff ...
... In Pennsylvania, all STATE Flags are half-staff ...
... And, in Cuyahoga County, Ohio, special locations in Massachusetts, across Bell County, Texas, and at all DPS facilities across Texas, plus in the cities of Arlington, WA, Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Columbia, South Carolina, Washington, D.C. and San Diego, California all Flags are half-staff ...
All of these half-staffs, except in Louisiana and Texas, honor coronavirus victims.

On this date, April 30, in 1803, the United States doubled in size.  Founding Fathers, Robert Livingston and James Monroe, signed a treaty (contract) and paid France $15 million dollars for lots of land in the continental United States, west of the Mississippi.  They called this deal the Louisiana Purchase.  Soon after this, President Thomas Jefferson assigned Captain Meriwether Lewis as Commander of the Corps of Discovery (also known as 'the Lewis & Clark Expedition') to go explore this new land America now owned.
