Where is Our Flag, the U.S. Flag, lowered to half-staff today (April 22)?
There are TWO new half-staffs ordered in parts of Missouri and Massachusetts.
Other Half-Staffs continue ...
... Across Arizona, Illinois, Michigan, New York, Connecticut, and New Jersey all Flags are half-staff ...
... In Pennsylvania, all STATE Flags are half-staff ...
... And, in Cuyahoga County, Ohio, and in the cities of San Marcos, Texas, Columbia, South Carolina, Washington, D.C. and San Diego, California all Flags are half-staff ...
All of these half-staffs, except in Massachusetts, Arizona, and Texas, honor coronavirus victims.

... the 50th anniversary of Earth Day (1970 - 2020) ...
... the 50th anniversary of Earth Day (1970 - 2020) ...
In March and April of 1970, the first celebrations of Earth were organized. John McConnell, a environmental activist from San Francisco, endorsed by the United Nations, led the first celebration on March 21, the first day of Spring, in 1970. And, a month later, on April 22, 1970, U.S. Senator Gaylord Nelson and Denis Hayes put together a nationwide environmental teach-in. Nelson and Hayes named their event "Earth Day" and created the Earth Day Network that now leads events in 193 countries.
