On June 8, in 1789, James Madison introduced 12 proposed amendments to the new US Constitution. Were they all approved by Congress and forwarded to the states for approval? And, what name was applied to these amendments? (answer below pic)
Answers: Yes, all 12 proposed amendments were forwarded by Congress to the states for ratification. And, they became known as the Bill of Rights - our first 10 amendments to the US Constitution
