Today's iHonor American Flag

Today's iHonor Flag for Vietnam War Fallen produced a couple of "firsts" for this Flag Steward nonprofit project.  It's the first iHonor Flag comemorating a Vietnam War fallen hero.  And, it's the first Flag I've taken on a run. On Memorial Day, I ran with it to the top of Highlands Point - a great spot overlooking Highlands Ranch and all of the Denver metro area to the north.  I felt compelled to run with this Flag because it honors a Marine Corps Captain who was a runner at heart, who led his HS to a Cross Country State Championship in 1958.  And, his grandkids here in our town were also outstanding HS XC and Track runners - running quite often to that same spot where I photographed their grandfather's iHonor Flag flew on Monday.
