[ Replica of home where Abe Lincoln was born on Feb. 12, 1809 in Kentucky ]
210 years ago today, Abraham Lincoln, was born in Sinking Spring Farm in Kentucky.
As President, Abe Lincoln, also served as 'Commander-in-Chief' - in charge of America's military; which back then, was simply known as the Union Army and Navy. He led America through its most difficult and heartbreaking war - the Civil War. He directed the Union forces to victory over the Confederate Army in the South.
