In Maryland, the US and Maryland State Flags are lowered to half-staff until sunset on the day of interment (TBD) for Assistant Fire Chief Daniel "Danny" Lister of the Queen Anne-Hillsboro Volunteer Fire Company, who died in the line of duty on September 1, 2018.
