Rhodes Campbell, who dutifully served the State of South Carolina as First Lady in late 80s. In MI,the half-staff honors in honor of former state Rep. Keith Muxlow, who served six terms in the Michigan House of Representatives. And prior to that he served in the U.S. Army as a radio operator from 1955-1957 and was Mayor of Brown City for 8 years.

23, of Bismarck, North Dakota; assigned to 1st Battalion, 5th Field Artillery Regiment, 1st Infantry Division, based in Fort Riley, Kan.; died of non-combat related injuries Nov. 27 in Junction City, Iraq.
