Died September 7, 2010 Serving During Operation New Dawn
Army Pfc. James F. McClamrock, 22, of Huntersville, N.C.; assigned to the 1st Battalion, 27th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Stryker Advise and Assist Brigade, 25th Infantry Division, Schofield Barracks, Hawaii; died Sept. 7 in Balad, Iraq, of wounds sustained in a shooting incident in Salah ad-Din province, Iraq.
We honor and thank him for defending our freedoms and fighting to liberate the lives of others.
He inspires us with this recollection from his family:
James was the one who was compassionate around those who were the underdogs – he made them feel special. He found the best in people and made them shine.
